On Sunday, July 11, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold a A Wisdom Circle on "Discovering Gratitude in the Midst of Turmoil," faciltated by Dr.Pam Kircher.

She points out that "In these times of vast oil spills, uncertain economy, and personal challenges, it is helpful to share with each other how we have come through previous difficult times and found small things to be grateful for even in the midst of great turmoil. " She adds "Come share your wisdom with the circle and learn from others’ personal experiences of overcoming."

Dr. Kircher is president of the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Steering Committee, a retired hospice doctor, and current teacher of Tai Chi.

In preparation of our annual Fellowship service and picnic on July 25, the Children’s Religious Exploration (CRE) program will take some time to discover the magic of words.  As we begin to create poems of our own making, we’ll be inspired by other poets such as Shel Silverstein and Dr. Seuss. The CRE program is for ages 3 and up and all are welcome.  Many Sunday school programs take the summer months off, but Pagosah UU offers programming year round. For more information and to view our current newsletter, visit our website.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.

All are welcome
